GRAPEFRUIT JULEP* Bulk Recipe

One part vodka
Half a part honey syrup
Half a part simple syrup (equal, parts of sugar and water dissolved together)
Half a part fresh lime juice
One and a half parts fresh Florida Grapefruit juice
One part Pomegranate juice
Fresh mint

Make the punch a few hours in advance. Place mint leavers in the container that you're preparing the drink in and bruise them with a wooden spoon or muddler. Add ingredients and stir well. When leaving for the picnic remove the mint leaves and pour the punch into a thermos. Add two cups of very cold dense large ice cubes. Screw the top on thermos and shake vigorously. Serve over ice and garnish with mint sprigs. (If you store the mint in a jar of water with ice cubes, it will remain fresh.

GRAPEFRUIT JULEP* Individual drink
1.5 oz. of vodka
1 oz. 100% Pom Wonderful Pomegranate Juice
1.3 oz.Florida grapefruit juice 1/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz. honey syrup (Prepare by mixing two parts honey with one part warm water, cool.)
2 mint sprigs

Bruise one mint sprig in the bottom of a mixing glass with the lime and honey syrup. Add the juices and shake. Strain over ice into a chilled rocks glass. Garnish with the remaining mint.

FLAMINGO serves approx 80-100
7 liters of white rum
Five 46 oz. cans of pineapple juice
1 quart of grenadine
2 1/2 quarts water
16 oz. fresh lime juice

Stir all ingredients together in a large container and taste if too sweet, add a little more lime juice. Use a gallon jar with a top, the type they use for institutional size mayo, Wash it out well. Fill two thirds, then add ice. Shake well and strain into the martini glasses.

PLANTERS PUNCH*Yields 1 liter - serves 6

5 oz. Dark Rum
5 oz. Light Rum
3 oz. Orange Curacao
6 oz. Fresh Orange Juice
6 oz. Pineapple Juice
3 oz. Simple Syrup
3 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
3 oz. of Grenadine
1 tablespoon Angostura Bitters

Mix all ingredients together in a large pitcher. To serve shake the drinks individually in a cocktail shaker with ice and a goblet filled 3/4 with ice. Garnish with pineapple orange and lime slices.
