JACQUELINE KROSCHELL
Singer and performer
"As a member of the Lambs, America's oldest theatrical club, we would get together one night a week to entertain one another in the pub. One night it buzzed around the room that Steve DePass was in the house. Steve was usually traveling, entertaining Presidents and crowned heads around the world with his amazing ability to improvise a song on the spur of the moment, songs that employed a rhyme about each guest in the room. That night I sang one of my Ofavorite signature songs, Alice Blue Gown. When I finished, Steve gestured for me to join him at his table. 'You hit me in the heart like a rock,' he said, and then he invited me to debut in his beautiful performance of Me, Myself and God at St. Peters Church in Manhattan. We've been best friends and collaborators ever since."
